December Luncheon

Info

Connie Jones Anglin and her son are very lucky to be alive. She ended a marriage of twenty plus years from an abusive husband but not without hiding nine, long years from him to avoid his murderous threats. Would it surprise you to learn Connie Jones Anglin is also a medical doctor?hat in your presentation .)

Her story clarifies some of the myths that surround domestic violence such as only poor, uneducated women are impacted by violence by their intimate partners She’ll share her experience with the Arizona Family Court System and how she had to advocate for the
physical safety for herself and her son. In fact, her story is so compelling that she was featured on Dateline in 2018 in an episode titled “Unraveled”.

Please join us to hear Dr. Jones’s story in person at a luncheon at Shugrues on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, sponsored by Anderson Toyota, from 11:45am to 1:00pm in the Bridgeview room.

The luncheon is $50 per person and 100% of the proceeds will be directed to Faith and Grace, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity that provides Lake Havasu City’s only shelters to women and children fleeing domestic violence. Each table seats ten guests and we welcome groups
who’d like to purchase tickets for an entire table.
