Transitional Shelter (Grace House)

Grace House

Sometime after their immediate safety has been addressed, battered women may want to consider living in our transition shelter where they have the opportunity to find work and save money for up to one year until more permanent housing is found for their residence.

In Grace House, we continue to offer many educational opportunities for women  to gain  financial literacy, life skills and parental training. Our classes are designed to empower survivors to  rebuild their lives from a new position of strength and hope.

It provides subsidized housing following residency in our emergency shelter, Faith House. During this time period, our Advocates help survivors establish self-sufficiency while working and saving the money necessary to secure future permanent housing for their family. Our primary goal for residents is always for them to live free of abuse in a productive and independent lifestyle.
