Victim Advocacy

Victim Advocates are trained to support victims of domestic violence. They offer emotional support, victim rights information, help in finding resources and help filling out paperwork and related forms. Our Advocates frequently accompany victims and their families to provide assistance to understand the legal system they must navigate to legally free themselves from the abuser.

Our victim advocacy program for women and children recommends and argues for their needs and defends our victims of domestic abuse at our shelters and through our outreach efforts. The purpose of victim advocacy promotes the interests and issues of domestic abuse victims and helps them find their voice.
